The terms
Version 2026-10-04. Last updated 4 October 2026.
These are the terms you agree to when you use Kahyna. They are written to be read.
1. Who you are dealing with
Kahyna
1200
Switzerland
contact@kahyna.com
2. What Kahyna is
Kahyna collects prices from prediction market venues and puts them on one screen. Next to each one it shows our own model estimate of the odds, and how uncertain that estimate is. It publishes its current-model accuracy record, losses included.
That is the whole of the product: information, and a read on it. In the words the product itself uses, it “gives you the numbers, the reasoning and the uncertainty behind every call so you can sharpen your own decision. It does not make it for you.”
3. What Kahyna is not
It is not advice. Nothing on this site is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, and nothing on it is a personal recommendation. We do not know your circumstances, your finances or your risk tolerance, and we are not assessing them. Every number we show is offered as an input to your decision, never as an instruction.
We are not a broker, an exchange, a bookmaker or an investment adviser, and we are not licensed or regulated as any of those things.
We never hold your money. There is no wallet to connect, no deposit, no balance, no withdrawal. Nothing you trade with ever passes through us, and there is no code in the service that could take custody of it. The one payment that exists here is a subscription to Kahyna itself, taken by Stripe on Stripe’s own page and set out in section 9. It buys access to this site and nothing else, and it is not a deposit, a stake or a balance.
We never place a trade. We have no ability to. Everything you trade, you trade on the venue’s own site, under the venue’s own terms, age limits, identity checks and geographic restrictions. Where we link to a venue, we are linking. Nothing more happens on our side.
4. Nothing here is a promise about the future
Every probability on this site is an estimate. Markets resolve one way or the other, and an estimate that was reasonable at the time can still turn out wrong. Ours do.
We publish our accuracy record because you should be able to check us. It covers the current model and includes its losses. That record covers what already happened. It is not a forecast of your results. Being better calibrated on average is not the same as making money, and no figure we display guarantees an outcome.
Returns we show are estimates before fees and slippage, derived from quotes at the moment we saw them. Prices move, order books empty, and a quote from a minute ago may not be there when you arrive. Where a book cannot fill the stake we quoted, we say so on the card rather than quietly using the price anyway.
When nothing on the board clears our publish bar, the board shows nothing. An empty board is the bar doing its job, not the product failing.
5. Age, and where this is lawful
You must be at least 18, and at least 21 where your jurisdiction requires it. You are responsible for knowing whether trading on prediction markets is lawful where you are, and for following the rules of any venue you use. If it is not lawful for you, do not use this to do it.
Prediction markets carry real risk of real loss. Only stake what you can afford to lose. If gambling stops being fun, help is available. In the US, call or text 1-800-GAMBLER.
6. Your account
One account per person. Keep your password to yourself and do not let anyone else use your account.
The address on your account is how you get back in. If you forget your password, ask for a reset link and we will email you one. It works once, it stops working an hour after it is sent, and using it signs out everywhere that was signed in to the account, including whoever else may have been. We will never email you your password, because we do not have it: we only ever store a hash, so a reset sets a new one rather than recovering the old one.
Because that is true, keep the address on your account current and keep control of it. Whoever can read that mailbox can reset the password and get into the account. We also ask you to confirm the address, by opening a link we send to it, so that we know it really reaches you. Until an address is confirmed it is only what somebody typed into a form, and we treat it that way.
If someone sends you a confirmation link for an account you did not create, do not open it. Ignore the message and nothing happens. Opening it tells us that address belongs to whoever made that account, which is exactly what it does not.
If you sign in with Google, Google is how you sign in from then on, and there is no password on the account until you set one. You can set one: ask for a reset link and choose a password, and from then on the account has both. Connecting Google is not undone by that. We still will not disconnect Google from an account that has no password, because it would leave the account with nothing to sign in with at all.
Tell us straight away if you think someone else is using your account. Sessions are held on our side rather than in a token we cannot take back, so access can be cut off immediately.
7. What you may not do
- Bulk-download, scrape or redistribute the data. Your access is for you. The market data behind it comes from the venues under their own terms, and passing it on is not ours to allow.
- Resell, sublicense or pass off the service or its output as your own.
- Hammer the service with automated requests. Programmatic access belongs to Max, which is not built and not on sale. When it exists, it will come with its own terms and its own limits.
- Try to reach another person’s account, defeat sign-in, or probe the service for weaknesses. If you find one, tell us instead. We would rather hear it from you.
- Use Kahyna to do anything that is unlawful where you are.
The underlying market data belongs to the venues it came from. Our estimates, our writing and the site itself are ours.
8. What we owe you, and what we do not
We run this as carefully as we can, and we do not promise it will be available, uninterrupted or free of errors. Venues go down, feeds break, and we take the service offline to change it.
Data can be wrong, stale or missing. When we know it is, we say so on the page rather than hiding it. Features can change or be withdrawn.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for money you lose trading, for opportunities you miss, for anything a venue does or fails to do, or for indirect or consequential loss of any kind. You make your own decisions with your own money.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. That includes death or personal injury caused by our negligence, and fraud. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights stay exactly as they are and nothing here tries to reduce them.
9. Paying for it
Kahyna is free to use. There is one paid plan, Pro, and it is a monthly subscription. A third tier, Max (the Kahyna agent and API access), is not built, is not on sale and has no price; nothing on this site can sell it to you.
The founding rate, and our promise about it. Members who subscribe while a founding place remains pay $9.90 a month. After the founding places are taken, Pro is $29.90 a month. The current availability is published on the pricing page from the same count checkout enforces.
If you take a founding place, $9.90 is your price for as long as your subscription stays active. We will not move you to the standard rate: not when the founding places fill, not at a renewal, not because the product grew. There is no expiry on it and no review of it. The only thing that ends the founding rate is Kahyna itself ending: if we wind the service down, the subscription ends with it, and so does the rate. This is a commitment, not a current intention.
It is tied to the subscription rather than to you. If you cancel, the place goes back into the founding pool and someone else can take it; if you subscribe again later, you subscribe at whatever price is open at that moment, which may be $29.90.
Three days of Pro, free. Every account gets three days of Pro from the first time it is signed in with its email address confirmed. No card is asked for and nothing is charged. When the three days end, the account goes back to Free on its own, with nothing to cancel. Your account page shows how long is left.
To keep Pro after that, subscribe through Stripe. Billing starts the day you subscribe: the first month is charged then, and there is no second free period on top of the three days.
Cancelling. You can cancel at any time, and cancelling stops every future charge. Cancellation is handled in Stripe’s billing portal. If you cannot reach it, write to contact@kahyna.com and we will cancel it for you. The one thing a subscriber must always be able to do does not depend on a button existing.
We never see your card. Payments are handled by Stripe. The card number is typed on Stripe’s own page, not on ours, and it never reaches our servers, our logs or our database. What we store is which plan you are on and the identifiers Stripe gives us for your subscription. Stripe is told the address on your account, so that a receipt and a renewal notice can reach you. The Privacy notice lists everyone who receives anything.
What is not settled yet: refunds. Beyond the free days and cancellation above, we have not written a refund policy, and we would rather say so than publish a sentence we have not thought through. When it exists it will be on this page, under a new version. Nothing here reduces the rights you have by law where you live; see section 8.
As at this version, no account has ever been charged and the service has never taken a payment. Where a page can start a payment, it tells you what it is connected to before you use it.
10. Ending it
You can stop using Kahyna whenever you like. Ask us to delete your account and we will. What that does and does not reach is set out in the Privacy notice, honestly, including the part about backups.
If you have a subscription, cancel it as well. Closing an account and ending a subscription are two different acts, and we would rather you read that here than discover it on a statement.
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that is used to attack or overload the service, or where the law requires it. We will tell you why unless we are not permitted to. A closed account is refused at sign-in.
11. Which law applies
These terms are governed by the law of Switzerland, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory law where you live.
12. Changes, and what you agreed to
When this text changes, the version at the top of the page changes with it. When you register we record which version you accepted and when, so that neither of us has to rely on memory about what the page said on the day.
For a change that materially affects you we will say so where you will see it, and we may ask you to accept the new version before you carry on.
The other half of this is the Privacy notice, which sets out exactly what we hold, for how long, and who else sees it.
